Sakura got a new sakura bag from Pleats Mama. Haha, I actually blogged about it in here. It finally arrived tonight. So now I got new set of clothes from Goelia, new earrings from Mimi33 and a new bag from Pleats Mama. 😀 Whee! Okay, I should stop shopping completely now. It feels like it is Chinese New Year all over again haha.
I am also preparing for my GCP Security exam followed by CISSP exam. I’m also heading to Hong Kong this year. I welcome all suggestions on what to eat, shop and sightsee for Hong Kong. 🙂 This is going to be my first trip to Hong Kong and same for my friends too. Feeling excited but also apprehensive because I broke my goal of not traveling this year. Oh well. Hopefully my finances are still okay after the trip. :/

I went to Gardens by the Bay Cherry Blossom festival (“Sakura Blossom into the night”) with my friends, Alex and Jin Quan, over the weekends. We all brought our camera equipment and I even brought my new Leica Sofort 2 to pose for a particular photo which Jin Quan found that I love it a lot. Jin Quan found the concept, Alex helped me took it after I found a perfect spot for the photo. Now the photo has become my profile picture on WhatsApp. 🙂
Haha, I wonder how my friend is going to recognise me when we meet at his office tomorrow when the new profile picture doesn’t show my face. Well, I have glow up quite a bit over the last few months so he better have something good to say. HAHA. If not, he can just keep quiet. LOL. 😀

Well, the outing is inspired because Alex and Jin Quan both got their new Instagram accounts that features the photos taken by them. It all started when Alex is like idling away and decided to create an Instagram account for Jin Quan. Then he renamed his account to lifeandplanes so Alex followed suit and created another account – flowersandlife9. Such bromance and even their Instagram account names are so similar. Well, I kept my usual thetreblestory and lihotography.
Happy International Women’s Day! Well, it’s technically 1 day late since it is 9 March today. 😀
This year is especially special because of I realised just how little the female presence in the Cyber Security field or even in technology space. Swiping on apps certainly make me feel very, very rare because there aren’t many ladies in tech space. Lololol.
Anyway, it’s a bit of pity that we don’t get gifts for the IWD. We did have activities though and I tried acrylic painting for the first time. I opted for the rose painting workshop and added stars into my painting as well.
Well, the workshop was on 7 March and there were no activities on 8 March. I went for hotpot dinner with my Autodesk excolleagues and had a really good catchup.
I went to office 4 days this week and whoa, it’s really tiring. So glad that I don’t need to do the same for next week – I hope. Fingers crossed!! I really need to find time to study for my GCP Security exam. Bleh. I haven’t even register for the exam yet. Gahhh.
My favourite luxury jewellery brand has opened a new store at Raffles Hotel and they have a new exhibition space. It’s quite small but the pieces on display are eye-opening. I went for their first exhibition which they mentioned is the first one in Asia. I really like the exhibition space and it has the floral feel like what I saw in the Seoul maison.
The entire exhibition space is designed by Jean Baptiste Auvray. I’m in the era of interior design these days so definitely taking inspiration from the space.
I’m still considering if gold finishing is worth the extra cost… I think a few IDs kind of think I am into gold finishing. Haha. May God bless and protect my wallet. 😀
Here are some of the pieces that I like. My favourite has got to be the bouquet of daises. I love daises! It is also especially special because it is made of platinum, yellow gold and diamonds. I have never seen a jewellery with both platinum and gold combined together. It’s like so rare and so difficult to make.
The second favourite is the sapphire leaf. I’m very impressed by their mystery setting. It’s VCA specialty and I am really happy to see it in person. I also learned how it is achieved during the guided tour.
I went with Evelyn and we both dressed up for it. She asked about my dating app journey and reviewed my profile. Then she told me she will take better photos for me and asked me to remove 2 of the photos. 😮
Anyway, I did get a very nice photo that she took and edited for me so it became part of my pictures in the profile. Lol! I really need to work on my posing. I’m just so awkward. Will probably need some time to get back my posing skills before 2018.
After about 2 weeks of “break” from studying, it’s time to get back to the studying mood tomorrow again. I got my GCP Security certificate to renew. I’m done with my AWS Security and Azure Security certificates renewal so now it is left with GcP Security for this year.
I also managed to get 2 new blouses from Uniqlo this weekend. I am loving the new Uniqlo C series. It helps in glowing up as well. Haha.
