I was at Kinokuniya and was reading the book on Korean skin care (this one) and got inspired to blog about my own skincare routine. I have blog about it in my previous posts before:

I’m going to use the same format again.

    Day care

    1. Cleanser (I’m currently using Fancl Washing Powder)
    2. Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing eye cream
    3. Laneige White Dew Ampoule Essence
    4. Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream
    5. Clarins UV Plus Sunscreen (I’m using the tinted version that is only found in USA)
    6. CNP Laboratory Omega Perfection Sun Block (for my neck and arms)
    7. Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion EX or Diorskin Forever Perfect Cushion
    8. Belif Sun Powder (optional since I don’t really use it so often)

    Night care

    1. Makeup remover
    2. Cleanser (I’m currently using Fancl Washing Powder)
    3. Any masks that I happened to buy (which is a huge range so I’m not going to list them here)
    4. Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing eye cream
    5. Muji Light Toning Water High Moisture (My all-time holy grail product!)
    6. Innisfree Green Tea Serum

Seems like I should expand on my night skin care regime… 6 steps is probably not sufficient, haha.

I was going through some of my old blog posts and I realised that it’s been quite some time since I blogged about my skin care regime! My last blog post on my skin care regime is back in 2014 in this post. Anyway, it’s time for a checkin status on my current skincare regime. I have become lazier over the last 2 years too. Hehe.

I’m going to follow the similar format of my old blog post… Well, to keep things consistent (actually it’s cause I’m lazy to come up with a new format, hehehe)

    Day care

    1. Cleanser (I’m currently using Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Mousse Cleanser)
    2. Muji Light Toning Water High Moisture (I’m still using it after so many years so you know this must be one of my holy grail products!)
    3. Sulwhasoo Essential Rejuvenating Eye Cream EX
    4. Laneige White Plus Renew Original Essence or Laneige Water Bank Essence EX
    5. Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream
    6. Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion
    7. Belif Sun Powder

    Night care

    1. Cleanser (I’m currently using Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Mousse Cleanser)
    2. Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Mask or Innsifree Jeju Volcanic Mousse Mask or Eucerin scrub or Innisfree Jeju Volcanic pore strips or CNP Laboratory pore strips or Innisfree Second Skin masks (I used one of these products occasionally)
    3. Muji Light Toning Water High Moisture (I’m still using it after so many years so you know this must be one of my holy grail products!)
    4. Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum EX (I hardly use it but I still use it when I am not that lazy, hahaha)
    5. Laneige White Plus Renew Original Essence or Laneige Water Bank Essence EX
    6. Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream

Most of the products are the ones that I have been using for many years and I’m still using them. My holy grail products are as follows:

There are some products that I doubt I will be buying as I want to keep my costs low and find cheaper alternatives:

I do need to look for a new eye cream after I finish my Sulwhasoo one. Any recommendations?

Now that I am in my mid twenties, I have started using more makeup. Well, I’m actually starting to like makeup. Hehe. I even got myself proper foundation and lip brushes! Maybe I will blog about my makeup routine on weekends in future. I don’t wear much makeup on weekdays, other than the Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion.

I went to RSAF Open House with Jin Quan yesterday. Well, Shang Ya is not free to join us while Alex is returning to Singapore yesterday so he couldn’t make it. So end up only Jin Quan and I are going… It would have been more fun if there were more people joining us but oh well… Alex was the one who told us about it and couldn’t join us in the end. :glare: :glare: :glare:

Anyway, Jin Quan and I took quite a bit of good photos. I still don’t have my telephoto lens so I couldn’t really zoom. Anyway, I will probably not go for the next open house and just go for air show in future…

I also got slightly suntanned on my forehead as I didn’t really reapply my sun screen (Belif Sun Powder) on my forehead. I got quite suntanned on my hands and a bit lesser on my neck. I didn’t reapply my sunscreen on my neck but I did reapply lots of sunscreen on my hands though. Guess CNP Laboratory Omega Perfection Sunscreen is more suited if you reapply and wait for a while to sink in before it is effective. Now I know I should always reapply physical sunscreens like Belif Sun Powder if I don’t have time to stay indoors to wait for the sunscreen to sink in… CNP Laboratory Omega Perfection Sunscreen is more of a physical-cum-chemical sunscreen so will probably need more time to sink into the skin before it is effective? Gahhh… Anyway, that means I should just depend on Belif Sun Powder for reapplications in future… Now I have to deal with tan lines which seriously suck… Bleh.
