I went to Golden Gate Bridge in this trip again. This time I managed to walk more than half of the bridge. I don’t think I walked till 75% but I am still quite happy that I conquered my fears and got to the midpoint of the bridge. It is quite an accomplishment for someone who has fears in heights and water!
I kept encouraging myself to continue to walk and don’t focus on the height or the ocean below me. I hit my goal of reaching the middle of the bridge then I decided to walk back. Whoa, panic set in and my legs became jelly-like. But I am all alone so I cannot be stuck in the middle of the bridge right? No one can save me in that situation except myself…
So I started distracting myself by thinking about the Tiffany and Co hardwear bracelet I tried on at the Haneda airport during my transit. That certainly helps because I did manage to make it back to the start of the bridge.

Gulabi and I went to the beach on our final day at LA. Revathi has already flew out of LA since she is not joining us to go to San Francisco.
We explored the beach and took some great photos too.
Will I go back again? Probably no. I think I reached the maximum capacity to visit the same beach after this trip. Haha. 🙂
You know you are becoming old when you go Comex tech and exhibition to look at curtains, power tracks and water purifiers. It is no longer looking at laptops or gadgets or cameras or monitors anymore…
Where did my youth go? Omg lah… I wish I can go back to looking at the gadgets/toys instead of actual house/adulting stuff. :/ For someone who is quite decisive, that is a bit too many decisions to make.

In my 2023 trip, Gulabi told me Westfield has left San Francisco so I can only visit the westfield mall at LA. My senior director at that time also recommended visiting the mall, along with with one of my favourite YouTuber Kieun Choi. Of course I have to visit it and wow, they did not disappoint!
I had dinner with Gulabi and Revathi at the Eatly restaurant which Gulabi recommended. It is like fine dining place and the portion size is rather small for the price.
The ice cream is quite nice even though it is quite expensive.
They also had their Christmas decorations at the mall since I went there during the Christmas season. Well, I did not expect to see cactus again…
I’m excitedly counting to the September/October month because if you know you know. 😉
Just a week more to the start of September and it’s officially the real countdown – except that I don’t really know the actual date yet. But I do know it is September or October.
Then it will be counting down to end November when I hope I will be going for another business trip this year. Feeling blessed for the chance to fly even if it is not in business class on the plane. Just getting the flight tickets and meals+accommodation covered is already very good for me. 😀
Definitely a busy year end ahead. Feeling blessed and not complaining. Lots of money will be flying out in subsequent months but it is what it is.
