I finally finished blogging about my USA trip last year (2023). It has been a privilege to go for another business trip last year and I get to explore new places with my friends. Last year has been really awesome with 3 international travels in which 2 of them are business trips. Business trips meant that I can save on the flight tickets and some hotels. 😀
I have a blogging in the air series for the trip which you can read them here.
Here are the 21 parts of my US trip summarised. 🙂

Gulabi brought me to explore GlowSF as she thinks that I will like to see it. Indeed! I really love it and took lots of photos from it. Unfortunately, night shots usually require tripod and I did not bring my camera tripod in this trip. Nevertheless, I make do with whatever I have and took many photos with my phone.

Gulabi treated me delicious chinese food on one of the dinners when J was in San Francisco. It’s like a taste of home! In fact, they claimed to be selling Singapore style noodles.
Since I was flying back home soon, I did not order this. We ordered the following food instead. 🙂

I went to Golden Gate Bridge in this trip again. This time I managed to walk more than half of the bridge. I don’t think I walked till 75% but I am still quite happy that I conquered my fears and got to the midpoint of the bridge. It is quite an accomplishment for someone who has fears in heights and water!
I kept encouraging myself to continue to walk and don’t focus on the height or the ocean below me. I hit my goal of reaching the middle of the bridge then I decided to walk back. Whoa, panic set in and my legs became jelly-like. But I am all alone so I cannot be stuck in the middle of the bridge right? No one can save me in that situation except myself…
So I started distracting myself by thinking about the Tiffany and Co hardwear bracelet I tried on at the Haneda airport during my transit. That certainly helps because I did manage to make it back to the start of the bridge.

I managed to catch the show with Gulabi because Gulabi’s friend, Lasya, got 2 tickets and decided to sell 1 ticket to me. Otherwise, it will be impossible to catch the show.
Definitely my first experience to a comedy show. It was not cheap – US$93.50 and I think it was only 1 hour long. But wow, it is really different watching him live as compared to watching him on Netflix show. Will I go for such shows again? Definitely yes!
