Gulabi found this cafe online but I don’t remember where is it exactly. I know it is within walking distance from our hotel at Santa Monica. The drinks are so-so but the croissants are amazing. Almond croissant is really very tasty!

I’m quite excited to visit Disneyland, not because of the rides but the beauty and photos I can take there. For those who know me personally, you will know that I never and will never be a rides/amusement park kind of lady.
It’s quite expensive trip though. I spent S$56.22 just on Uber rides from hotel to Disneyland both ways. I went with Revathi and Gulabi so S$56.22 is after splitting the cost threeways. So yes, it is quite expensive. Then the ticket to both parks at Disneyland is S$357.72. Yes, I paid for priority access and I did make use of it a few times so I would say it is worth it. The crowd is just way too scary. So that’s S$413.94 just for the rides and entry ticket for 1 person for a single day. 😮
Will I go back again? Nope, but I would love to visit the one at Florida where they have 7 parks. Haha. It’s like a once in a lifetime experience.
I took lots of photos and given that I went there to take photos, I did manage to capture lots of moments and I uploaded quite a few on my Instagram accounts. I shall share it over here to document this special and expensive memory. Specifically the S$414 memory hahaha.
I brought my backpack for the trip to bring my tripod and camera only to realise that I forgot to pack both items after I reached Disneyland. :/ So all the photos are taken by my iPhone 13 Pro… Oh well, the photo quality would have been better if it is taken by my camera, especially the night shots. I guess I just have to make do with whatever I have.
Food is not more expensive than outside of Disneyland but it certainly tasted quite nice. My standard of asian food quality dropped a lot when I am in US because beggars can’t be choosers. 🙂
Of course I didn’t take the ride. Just look at the ride video below…

I always love to explore Christmas decorations. It is especially lovely when it is night because the lights will be turned on and it will be quite beautiful.
This time I went to Downtown Santa Monica and took a leisure walk with my colleague friend, Revathi. It was her first time to US and I can see she is a bit anxious haha. I’m just like “aiya, heck care lah” kind of attitude. A bit of a daredevil to be walking at night in US. But it was okay since Santa Monica is like the rich people district. Lololol.
The streets are relatively quiet and is quite different from Singapore.

After my work trip in Scottsdale, I extended my US trip with a vacation to Santa Monica, Anaheim and San Francisco.
Flew to LAX and we checked into our hotel near Santa Monica beach/pier. We went to get our lunch at the pier and gosh, it was quite horrible tasting.
It was my second time to Santa Monica Pier. I remembered how I spent so much on an Uber ride from Downtown LA to Santa Monica to catch the sunset and it was one of the most worthy Uber ride ever.
This time I also managed to catch the sunset since I stayed so near to the pier.
This time I wasn’t alone in the trip. I went with my colleague, Revathi, and my friend, Gulabi. Exploring the same place with friends just felt different. 🙂

As I am wrapping up my work at Scottsdale, I took some photos and videos of my work trip before I embark on my personal vacation in US.
I took this video when I was on the ride back to hotel from the office. I think I was in Ryan’s car at that time. I have to say that I sometimes miss such scenery…
