The haze season is back in Singapore – thanks to Indonesia burning their trees to clear land, again. I bought the Sharp air purifier back in 2015 and the filter don’t really last for very long before producing the dusty smell. But after switching it on for a while, the dusty smell will go away. But still, not very good. In addition, the coverage area for the air purifier is insufficient to cover my living room so I decided to get another air purifier.

I was thinking of getting Philips AC2882 but it went out of stock while I was still thinking if I want to get the model.

Then I switched to Philips AC2887 but it went out of stock after I ordered. There were still 8 pieces left when I ordered and I got a shipping number when the seller shipped the product after 2 working days. I even confirmed with the seller. However, I still didn’t receive it by the 4th or 5th working day so I decided to contact the seller again. Then the seller said that they got 1 staff trying to contact me as the air purifier that I ordered was out of stock. :glare: They wanted to switch my order to another “high end air purifier and dehumdifier” as a replacement which I declined. So I opt for refund and now Shopee (the platform which I ordered it from) is processing the refund.

I went shopping yesterday and tried Dyson air purifiers. I was thinking of getting Dyson Pure Cool Me which is around the same price as Philips AC2887 on discount (S$499) at Shopee. I can’t find any discount on the same Philips model and it was out of stock almost everywhere. So I was thinking of getting Dyson Pure Cool Me instead.

Turns out that there was some discount at Harvey Norman for Dyson air purifiers so I was thinking of getting Dyson Pure Cool DP04 (the one for table tops). I love the strong airflow and it was not as expensive as its tower standing peer (Dyson Pure Cool TP04).

Luckily for me, there were discount for Dyson Pure Cool TP04 when I went to Harvey Norman store at Millenia Walk. I got it at S$674 and I haven’t decide if I want to top up S$142 to get 3 additional years of warranty coverage.

Dyson TP04 works well for me so far. It definitely works well in my bedroom and not too bad in the living room so far.

So yeah, I got myself another Dyson product. My first product is the legendary hair dryer which I forgot when I got it. But I don’t use it everyday even though I should be doing that.

Kudos to my boyfriend, Chin Hau, who helped me carry it back to my home. And fortunately that our grab car is big enough to squeeze it in.
