I got Bose QuietComfort 35 II during Shopee Super Brands Day – Bose edition. Hehe. I wanted a bluetooth and noise cancellation headset for a while but didn’t get one so far. I actually wanted to get the new NC700 but it wasn’t on huge discount – it’s still selling at S$549 so I didn’t go for it. QC35 II, on the other hand, was selling at S$349 for their rose/pink limited edition version. It was a pretty good deal so I bought that instead. Hehe. I can live without not-so-crystal clear voice calls with QC35 II for a S$200 savings.
I got the S$20 Bose voucher that was released in the event so the total damage for the headset is S$329. Whee!
My QC25 is still working fine though which I will continue to use it for flights and stuff. QC35 II works well for my phone which do not have the audio jack.
Speaking of which, I’m so glad that my phone, iPhone 8 Plus, is still going strong. I don’t want to curse it but I am loving the longevity of iPhones. What’s going to be my next phone if my current phone dies? The latest iPhone for sure. Haha. A new wallpaper and phone case and my phone feels as good as new.
My birthday gift from my boyfriend has arrived. It’s the pretty Anne Pro II in white. A very pretty colour. It is also my first mechanical keyboard and I opt for the brown switch so that it is not too noisy for my family when I use it on late nights.
It feels different to type on a mechanical keyboard as compared to normal membrane keyboards. I only use external keyboards in office for work purpose and have always been using a normal keyboard that is provided for office use. I don’t use keyboards at home so this is my first keyboard that I can use at home and for personal use. Hehe.
It’s awesome that I can switch to different devices even though there is a slight lag. Hehe.
I’m an excited girl while blogging with this new pretty keyboard.

I got myself a iPad Pro 11inch in 64GB yesterday. Well, I needed to recontract my phone plan at Singtel and I want to downgrade it. I can either go for a SIM-only plan or one of their new data intensive plans – XO series. I went for XO48 plan in the end and paid S$632 (including discounts) for the iPad Pro. I wanted to get the 256GB version in Space Grey but the last unit is reserved so I can’t get it. I have to go other stores in order to try to get it. I went to the third store (Singtel Bugis Junction) and the sales guy is much better than the first sales guy (at Singtel Comcentre). He actually helped me check if there are stocks for 256GB version in Singapore and apparently there aren’t any stocks for 256GB and 512GB in the whole of Singapore. Luckily there are still 64GB version at the store so I got that instead. The first guy lied to me and said it is no stocks even for 64GB for the entire Singapore. What a liar. He just want to do quick business and wants me to get something else instead. Boooo.
I’m happy that I managed to get it in the end even though it is not the preferred storage option or the colour that I wanted (I got it in Silver).
I’m even happier that my iPhone 8 Plus lasted for close to 2 years now and I don’t have to get another phone when I recontract.
Also, cheaper mobile plans for the win!
I’m thankful and lucky to have Chin Hau as my boyfriend. He encouraged me to go Bugis outlet to ask. We basically go from Singtel Comcentre at Somerset MRT to ION Orchard at Orchard MRT then to Bugis Junction at Bugis MRT. All for that iPad Pro.
Our original plan of studying got foiled because of iPad Pro shopping. I didn’t expect Comcentre not to have any stocks and being so unhelpful.
He is so patient with me and didn’t complained about not able to study. Lots of other things happened on the same day too – like not getting cash when I withdraw cash from ATM machine.
