Rules

You must know how to use HTML and FTP. It will be an additional bonus if you know how to use PHP and MySQL.
Your site must be in English.
Strictly no MP3s and videos files allowed and no illegal stuff to be found on your site or FTP account. (ie. copyrighted songs, pornography, racism, sexism or any other inappropriate content and many other more)
You must respect all your hostees and most importantly, me.
You must make and code your own layouts. It is fine if someone is making a layout for you once in a while. Most of the layouts must be made by you.
If you are accepted, you must link me and finish your site in 3 week's time. You must update at least once every month. I reserve the right to delete your account if you do not, unless I know your reason for lack of updates.
If you fail to update your sites at least once a month, I will not email you any warning. Instead, I will just delete your subdomain. If you did not realized that your site has “disappeared” for 3 weeks, I will email you to inform you that your FTP account will be deleted.
You cannot include your own ads or host other sites or write paid reviews.
You must make an effort to keep in contact with me. I'm not going to host someone who I don't keep contact with.
It would be great if you can inform me when you changed your layout so that I can update this page.

I reserve the right to add or delete rules and you are expected to follow.

What is the difference between POP3 and forwarder? POP3 is similar to your Hotmail account where you will be going to a page to login and view your emails. When you reply to emails, your email address will be displayed as xxx@violinstar.net, where xxx is your username. However, for forwarder, you do not need to go to a page to login to view your emails. You can just log into your original email account to view your emails. Unlike, POP3 email, when you reply to emails, your email address will be shown as the one who login, eg. xxx@hotmail.com, where xxx is your username.

Customised error pages*
- Please make sure that you attached a link/file for your customised error page when you request for it.
Installation of selected PHP programs such as wordpress* (excluding cutenews)
MySQL databases*
- What is a MySQL database? It is a type of database that is required for wordpress installation. Other software such as FanUpdate also require you to have database. If you are unsure of whether the software you need to use requires MySQL database, do ask me about it.
