I bought a new wireless mouse. It looks just like arc mouse except that it’s hard to left and right click and not very comfortable to use. However, it’s Hello Kitty design. Well, that’s the main reason why I bought it. It’s quite sensitive but the clicking part is … argh. :pissed: Maybe it’s because I am not used to it? Now my wrist is feeling a bit tired. Oh well… My previous wired mouse is lighter and I am quite used to it. Oh well… Why is my previous mouse not Hello Kitty design?

I called the computer service center at NUS after getting the number from Byron. Yes! My laptop battery just arrived and I am going back to school to get a new battery. I seriously need a new laptop battery before school starts.

I finally received a call from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. I may have an interview next week for the second major in Recording Arts and Sciences. Well, I don’t really feel the joy since I have to extend 1 more semester/year in order to finish the modules required for second major. I need to complete 9 more modules on top of the modules for my current major, Computer Engineering. I only have 6 more semesters left. If I take a second major, I don’t think I have the time to go for the 6-month Industrial Attachment (also known as internship). It’s like I have to overload every semester, starting from the upcoming semester in order to graduate in 4 years. In other words, I have to take 6 to 7 modules each semester. Oh my gosh. I have been taking 4 exams for the last 2 semesters. The idea of myself taking 6 exams for each semester scares me.

I went with Rui to watch Nodame Cantabile. A pity that Eunice can’t join us… :disappointed: Both Rui and I found that the ending was too abrupt. It’s as though some scenes were cut from the movie. Oh well… I want to see the performance by Nodame and Chiaki. They finally managed to perform on the same stage and I can’t believe it got cut. Argh. :pissed: Overall, I find that the movie was not as nice as I had expected. The link from part 1 of the movie and part 2 wasn’t clear and the ending was too abrupt. Oh well… Nevertheless, I like the classical music and Tamaki Hiroshi in the movie. Nodame decided to dump Chiaki and Chiaki actually managed to win back her heart by asking her to play Mozart’s piano duet with him. Awww… :lovestruck: So sweet!!! When will I be able to find a song that can inspire me or let me gain back any passion for violin if I ever lost some of it?

I am currently working on Souvenir De Sarasate. Well, it’s one of the pieces I am working on, on top of the technical exercises from Mazas (argh…), Sevick, and other classical pieces. I am playing more of classical/romantic period pieces nowadays. I guessed Mr Yan found that I have enough of training for baroque pieces. I wonder when will he asked me to start training for Chinese/Modern pieces. No jazz pieces, please. I found a Youtube video of Souvenir De Sarasate which I think the violinist has decent technique and good tempo. I only managed to play the first minute of the piece so far. I need time to slowly train on the left hand pizzicato in the middle of the piece. Surpisingly, I find the double stopping and rhythm in this piece quite okay. Thanks to the training from attending orchestra practices, although it is quite stressful sometimes.
