I need to find back my passion to play well on the violin. I am always feeling very sleepy after work and the lazy bug has taken over me and caused me to be very lazy in practising my violin. As a result, my skills have deteriorated. Argh. This is bad. How am I going to take Grade 7 violin if I am always feeling so lazy? I need motivation! Not to forget that one of my technical exercise book, Mazas, is torturing me slowly. It’s a slow torture. The technical exercises in the book are so tough and I really take a very long time to pass each piece. Furthermore, I am lacking motivation to even practise the technical exercises from that book. The name, Mazas, simply scares me now. Oh my gosh.

My next technical exercise from the book is to master the technique of changing positions quickly. It’s an important technique in violin playing but seeing the score scares me. Argh.

When I was about to drink water from my water bottle while at work today, I saw that Byron replied my text message. So I opened it while drinking some water, his text message almost make me puked out the water I was drinking. Fortunately, I did not puke out or choke on the water. Guess what his message is? He wrote: “haha! ray[ner], guardian of the flower [he is actually referring to me]? lol.” The starting topic is not even related to rays and flowers. We were discussing when is he buying his camera and how “hazardous” he is to young little girls. What I learnt from this incident… Never read Byron’s text messages while drinking water. I can’t imagine what will happen next if I puke out the water in office. Oh my gosh. The managers and auditors are going to stare at me. Argh. Ultimate embarrassment. This is what happened to you when you are being nice and not say hurting remarks when your friend asked you why: got scandalised using his weird logic although I don’t feel angry or having any negative emotions when I saw that message. I am only surprised and shocked.

Lastly, I hope I didn’t say the wrong thing at the wrong time just now. She just ignored my message and didn’t even say “bye” when she went offline.
