I went back to school to change my laptop battery. Apparently, I have to wait for 2 weeks before a new battery arrives. Oh well… This means that I need to go back to school before lectures start again.
I went to Central Library in school today. Surprisingly, quite a number of people are in library today. Nope, they aren’t there for orientation. They are there to study. Yes, you didn’t read wrongly, to study.
Oh my gosh. Bidding for modules have yet to start and people are in library mugging? Okay, the people in my university are super, duper hardworking.
I went to library to explore and realised that I am still quite unfamiliar with the library facilities, especially level 3. For those who are not in the same university as me, there are 4 levels in the library, from level 3 to level 6. Level 3 contains all the loan-able books and level 4 are where the printers, photocopiers, multimedia stuff are located. Level 5 and level 6 are study area and some reference books can be found at level 5. Well, I took some time before I found the section where the computer related books are. I will definitely want to explore the library again the next time I go back to school to collect my new laptop battery.
It’s my first time borrowing loan-able books from level 3 in the library. I think I looked quite noob when I walked towards the borrowing station at level 4 to borrow one book. Thank goodness that I remembered what Ling Hong told me about borrowing library books before I go to the station. I need to use my student pin number to borrow books. Fortunately, I have my laptop with me so I simply switched it on to get my student pin number from my hard disk.
That’s it. I still don’t really know how to go to the Crystal Jade restaurant at Holland Village. I asked 3 people, in which 1 of them did not replied. The rest merely gave me rough directions which I already knew. Oh well… Sigh… Do I really want to go to Holland Village tomorrow for Xiao Long Bao cum steamboat buffet? Or should I just go somewhere else for la mian and Xiao Long Bao. Argh. Byron shouldn’t have showed me the pork buns youtube video that tempted me to eat Xiao Long Bao.
